The Office of Key Project Inspectors is responsible for studying and putting forward working plans for national key project inspection; studying and formulating policies, laws and regulations concerning project inspection and supervision; guiding and coordinating project inspection and supervision nationwide; inspecting and monitoring the implementation of national key construction projects; tracking and inspecting the implementation of national investment policies and regulations in relevant industries and by local authorities; handling reports on violations in the implementation of national investment policies and major construction projects; appraising the performance and credibility of project owners and contractors and evaluating project construction after its completion; handling breach of regulation in government investment and the implementation of key projects; and making recommendations on the improvement of investment management and project construction.
