The Department of Industrial Policies is responsible for studying and analyzing the situation of industrial development, drafting comprehensive industrial policies, organizing and coordinating dedicated industrial policies and monitoring the implementation of industrial policies; putting forward the guidance catalog for production capacity, technology and products under the categories of state-encouraged, state-restricted and to-be-eliminated; studying strategies and key policies for the development of the service sector and coordinating its development; and making policy recommendations on the optimization of industrial, ownership and enterprise structures.
